With the growing adoption of advanced indirect restorative materials—such as glass ceramics, zirconia, hybrid resin ceramics, and 3D-printed materials—clinicians face increasing complexity when it comes to cementation. The long-term success and esthetics of these restorations rely heavily on selecting the right cement and applying the appropriate protocol. However, with numerous material types and cement options, the process can quickly become overwhelming.
This workshop will demystify cementation by breaking down the decision-making process, highlighting the strengths and limitations of different cements, and providing practical, evidence-based protocols tailored to clinical scenarios. Attendees will walk away with greater confidence and clarity in achieving long-term restorative success.
Learning Objectives:
- Explore the latest restorative materials and categorize available dental cements.
- Master step-by-step cementation protocols for various materials and clinical situations.
- Identify key clinical factors that influence cement selection and protocol choice, along with expert tips for optimizing outcomes.
