During this course Dr. DuPont will share a process that he has been using successfully to solve the most difficult problems that patients present with. Using the principles that he learned while practicing with Dr. Peter Dawson, teaching at the Dawson Academy and at the L.D. Pankey Institute, he has accumulated some extremely challenging cases over the last 44 years. Anterior open bites, class three problems, anterior cross bites, posterior cross bites, deep over bites and anterior wear are a few of the cases that he will address.

A step-by-step process will be presented along with a series of checklists that the attending dentist can immediately apply to help see a predictable solution to the problems they see in their patients.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand that predictable results involve following some key principles that will be discussed.
• Learn the importance of anterior teeth for esthetics, function and phonetics and how to evaluate them systematically.
• Recognize important functional principles that will help create healthy stable results.
• See how to utilize specific checklists to help evaluate, plan and sequence an array of different cases.

Glenn E. DuPont, DDS graduated from Emory University’s College of Dentistry and joined the practice of Drs. Peter Dawson and Pete Roach in St. Petersburg Florida. He worked and taught with Dr. Dawson for over four decades ago.

Dr. DuPont has been honored in many ways, but he is most proud of his presidencies of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration, The Florida Prosthodontic Study Group, and the Pinellas County Dental Association. He helped found The Dawson Academy hands on courses and is still teaching at the L.D. Pankey Institute today. Dr. DuPont was recently honored as a Fellow in the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration. Over the past 44 years, Dr. DuPont has had the opportunity to teach thousands of dentists all around the world.

Dr. DuPont is also very involved with his church and his community. He and his wife, Janet, were married in 1975 and have 4 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
