This all-day course is designed to empower dental assistants, whether new to the field or seasoned professionals, with the latest knowledge and skills necessary to excel chairside. Participants will delve into advancements chairside, infection control techniques, cutting-edge technology, and best practices in the dental office, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and the dental team.

- Advanced Instrumentation and Equipment: Familiarize yourself with the latest dental instruments and equipment, including digital imaging and chairside CAD/CAM technology.
- Infection Control and Safety: Implement the highest standards of infection prevention and control, including the latest guidelines and protocols.
- Burn-Out is Real: Learn practical strategies to avoid burnout and maintain a fulfilling career. Explore common causes of burnout in the dental assisting profession and offer simple, actionable solutions to prevent and mitigate its effects.
Julie Varney, CDA, RDA, CDIPC, a dedicated NYS Registered Dental Assistant and passionate high-school dental assisting educator with a mission to empower dental assistants. With over 30 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge in chairside assisting, infection prevention, and more. Her career has encompassed many facets in the dental office from chairside assistant to practice manager. As an on the job trained dental assistant, Julie invested into the profession of assisting becoming an RDA, CDA, CDIPC and COA. Julie’s goal is to empower dental assistants to have a career that they’re passionate about while being a valued team member. Julie is currently serving a 5-year term on the NYS Dental Board, representing dental assistants and the public.
