This course is recommended for everyone.
This program will provide the dentist and dental team with practical information on treating infants through teens. Tips and tricks will be taught on how to provide safe quality treatment while having fun! Hear how to effectively execute quality treatment plans that provide healthy smiles for today’s children. After this course, dental health professionals should feel confident in diagnosing, treatment planning and executing treatment for infants, children and teens that will result in favorable outcomes.
- Review behavior guidance techniques.
- Discuss treatment planning.
- Prevention and restorative dentistry will be discussed.
Mary Beth Dunn, DDS ’90, graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dunn went on to receive her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She then completed a one-year Fellowship with the Craniofacial Center of Western New York in 1993.
Dr. Dunn maintains a private pediatric dental practice in Williamsville, New York, and is a part-time faculty member at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She also performs dental operating room procedures at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and serves as a consultant to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
