Speaker: Dr. Yoly Gonzalez-Stucker
Dr. Mohl earned his dental degree from the University at Buffalo in 1956. After serving as a Dental Officer in the US Navy and running a successful practice in Buffalo, he dedicated his life to academia, achieving the rank of SUNY Distinguished Service Professor.
He was a leader in dentistry and his superb vision in dental education inspired the development of key programs in the School of Dental Medicine, most notably, the Master of Oral Sciences Program and the Postdoctoral Training Program in TMD and Orofacial Pain. As exceptional as his academic brilliance was, his outstanding kindness and respect for others was unmatched.
Norm promoted and supported the academic careers of many faculty members not only in his academic home, the Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences, but throughout the School of Dental Medicine.
We will now take this opportunity to once again recognize and celebrate Norm’s footprint in our School, in dental education and in the many ways he impacted our lives. He will always be present in our hearts.
