This course will introduce the history of malocclusion and how underdeveloped jaw structure results in crowded teeth with bad bites. We will look at the pathway from an unhealthy oral cavity to an unhealthy human. This course will demonstrate how clear aligner therapy can be used to correct a variety of malocclusions, and case presentations will be used to show how clear aligner therapy can improve the oral and overall health of our patients.
Course Objectives:
- Identify clear aligner therapy candidates from approximately 75% of your patient base.
- Understand why expansion protocols provide predictable outcomes with minimal interproximal reduction (IPR) and attachments.
- Educate patients on the health benefits of clear aligner therapy for increased case acceptance.
